Capefear

cape fear is a thriller film directed by Martin Scorsese. it was released in 1992 on the 6th of March.

it starts with an establishing shot of the water which is calming and relaxed. the music at the beginning of the sequence is also calming and quiet and it also has diegetic sound of the water splashing against the bank to help reinforce the calming sense.

as the eagle soars across the screen the music builds and quickens. as the beat gets faster the eagle gets closer and then disappears. the music gets louder and quicker still and then has a loud beat as the title "capefear" is shown. the water gets darker as this happens and and eye appears on screen behind the water. the eye is flickering around the screen and as the music dies the eye disappears. then the music gets slower then fluctuates.
